Music to me is everything, I started playing music back when I was in 5th grade. At my elementary school when you got into 5th grade you had to either join the chorus, band or orchestra. I decided to go with orchestra and started playing the violin, which I ended up playing all the way through high school, I also started playing the guitar in high school, and now I don't really play that much of either.
I like to listening to music, when I'm in a really great mood or a really bad mood. When you're in a really good mood it's fun to turn up a song and jam out to it with your friends in the car, or when you're in a really bad mood you can just throw your headphones in your ears and crank them up and drown out the world.
I listen to all types of music, my iPhone library has almost anything you could imagine (as I'm typing this now I just went from listening to Over the Rhine to Lil Wayne while its on shuffle). The band I listen to the most, know every word to every song, and has the most inspiration to me is The Fray.
Since music is the biggest influence on my life it only makes since that I make it my career.
This blog is my journey, starting off by working on my first tour (2 months ago, next post will be about it), then to my big move to Nashville finally coming up on September 1st, to starting at Belmont University for Music Business, and the rest from there is to be determined.
